I came across the phrase ‘djed medu’ (which means words spoken) while researching the medu neter, the divine language of the Gods used in Ancient Kemet. The medu neter is a magical language because the ancients understood the power of the spoken word.

There’s something very important for magicians to understand though:

The people of Kemet actually deified speech itself through the recognition of the divine force that they called ‘Hu.’ The God of Divine Speech. Hu is the deification of the first words of creation uttered by Ptah/Atum (depending on which Kemetic tradition you’re working with). Therefore, he’s the God of Divine Speech and deeply related to the medu neter itself.

‘Djed Medu’ was used in the (incorrectly named) Book of the Dead and precedes the speaking/recitation of spells. So the magic imbued in these words was already established thousands of years ago!

To speak ‘djed medu’ is to tap into a stream of divine power that predates all of civilization!

In a recent Tiktok video, I broke down opening up a portal using the medu neter. The phrase I revealed is weba khesefu (pronounced weh-ba keh-seh-foo). This phrase literally means “open up the doors of Heaven.” I use it along with djed medu as an introduction to a spell.

Below, I have the Utterance of Divine Authority. It is a declaration of divine authority within the cosmos. It should be spoken aloud and with strong intent. Do not doubt its efficacy and ability to produce results for you. If you do have doubt, you are not working in ‘Ptah Consciousness.’

Ptah consciousness is a state of consciousness that sees the blueprint before the building, the pattern before the manifestation. Ptah consciousness involves perceiving the underlying geometric, mathematical, and energetic structures that give form to material reality - thinking like a cosmic architect or master craftsperson.

Fear and doubt breaks all of that power down and makes it useless.

The time has come for all magicians to declare our divine authority. 2026 is a 1 year and will be the year that we are no longer hidden. Due to the events in the world, making a declaration of our authority and protection is key. So below is the first spell that I am revealing to the public.

Repeat these words:

“Djed Medu: Ra [or insert another divine power here] weba khesefu.

“Djed Medu: My name is [insert your name or divine name here], and I hereby declare my rightful power and authority within the realm of spirit by the power of Ptah, the begetter of the first beginning, the Lord of Truth, the God who made himself to be God.

I hereby issue a divine decree authorizing the protection of my Ba and Ka by the forces of nature.

I hereby issue a divine decree authorizing the strengthening of my Ka energy field to repel, distract, blind and bind all forces of darkness in this physical world and the non-physical domains.

I hereby issue a divine decree declaring myself a Sa Ptah—a son of Ptah. (or Sat Ptah if you’re a ‘daughter of Ptah). Therefore, as a Sa Ptah, I have the qualities inherent of divine creation. These qualities include, but are not limited to, thought form magic, reality transmutation magic, the magic of divine order and structure, the magic of talismans and amulets and other magical tools, and the magic of mental alchemy.

I hereby issue a divine decree declaring that I reject and repel all forms of surveillance, subterfuge, deception and manipulation coming from people, institutions and dark orders within the seen and unseen domains. Whether their attacks be physical or non-physical in planning or execution.

I hereby issue a divine decree declaring that I am a Ka Priest—a Hem Ka—and my home is my temple—that my body is my temple. Therefore as a Hem Ka, I declare my authority to use my Ka for passive and aggressive protection of these temples from the aforementioned dark forces.

I hereby issue a divine decree exposing all forms of evil being used against me and command that the negative, dark energy sent to me be sent back to its source. That any attempt to break this spell and violate the security of divine order will be handled by those heavenly powers that deal with the violation of cosmic, natural law.

I hereby issue a divine decree declaring that my mind, body and spirit are my own and cannot be cloned, imitated, perverted, weaponized or co-opted by any physical or non-physical entity or force.

I hereby issue a divine decree that the source of my power is love, truth and infinite intelligence that radiates from within the golden light of Ra. That as long as the Sun rises in the East and sets in the West, my divine authority is writ within the laws of the Universe as long as I adhere to the cosmic, natural law of Ma’at.

It is spoken. It is done. My power emerges from the waters of Nun, materializes into form by the power of Tatenen and radiates as bright as the Sun by the power of Ra.
