When a talisman or amulet is created, it’s not enough to simply have it in your possession. You have to activate it and use your own power to charge it with the force of your Ka.

I bring to you a new utterance, or spell, to do just that. This will be a general-purpose utterance to use for any talisman, no matter what it was designed to do.

Talismans and amulets have a rich history in the ancient world, especially in Ancient Kemet. They were used in everyday life and especially during ritualistic activities. Whereas amulets are magical tools of protection that are meant to shield the bearer from harm. A talisman is meant to empower/amplify the bearer’s magic.

An amulets shields the bearer from harm.

A talismans amplifies the power of the bearer’s magic.

I recently created the Sha Talisman, which is a talisman of divine decree. The purpose is to amplify your ability to ordain, decree, order and command the forces available to you.

On the back is the hieroglyph that means Ka. While on the front are the glyphs that translate to the word Sha (hence Sha talisman). The idea being the talisman empowers your Ka so that your magic is amplified.

  • Note: you don’t have to speak the bolded words in parenthesis. That was included so that you would know the meaning of the words.

Djed Medu, Ptah-Tatenen weba khesefu.

Djed Medu: My name is [insert your name or divine name here], and I hereby declare my rightful power and authority to consecrate this sacred instrument by the power of Ptah, who spoke creation into being through heart and tongue, the Lord of Truth, the God who made himself to be God.

I hereby issue a divine decree that this Talisman of Sha (Divine Decree) is now activated, consecrated, and empowered.

I hereby issue a divine decree that the medu neter inscribed upon this talisman—𓈙 the Lake, 𓄿 the Vulture, 𓏛 the Scroll, and 𓂓 the Ka—are no longer mere symbols but living Words of the Gods carrying the full force of Heka.

I hereby issue a divine decree that this talisman serves as an anchor of ordained authority. When held or worn, it transforms my words from petition into decree, from request into command, from hope into inevitable manifestation.

I hereby issue a divine decree that the Sha (decree power) inscribed on the front flows outward into reality with cosmic authority, while the Ka (power source) on the back draws sekhem from my purified vital force, creating a complete circuit of power.

I hereby issue a divine decree that this talisman amplifies the hekau (words of power) spoken by me. My Sia (divine mind) shall conceive with clarity, my Hu (divine utterance) shall carry the weight of cosmic law, and my Heka (primordial magic) shall execute without obstruction.

I hereby issue a divine decree that this talisman marks me as one who speaks with ordained authority—not as supplicant, but as Hem-Ka (Ka Priest), as Wer Hekau (Great One of Magic), as one who has earned the right to command reality itself.

I hereby issue a divine decree that this talisman is protected from all forms of interference, corruption, or neutralization. No entity, force, or practitioner—whether physical or non-physical, malevolent or misguided—can diminish, corrupt, or break the power sealed within this sacred object.

I hereby issue a divine decree that when I hold this talisman and speak my intention, that I speak not from ego but through my purified Ka, channeling the same creative force by which Ptah ordained the cosmos into being.

I hereby issue a divine decree that this talisman connects me to the lineage of the Djedi—the Masters who endured, the Keepers of the Black Arts, those who understood that reality responds to ordained command backed by power.

I hereby issue a divine decree that the power within this talisman shall remain active as long as I maintain alignment with Ma'at (cosmic truth and order). When used in service of truth, justice, and divine will, its power is absolute. When used in violation of Ma'at, it shall remain inert.

I hereby issue a divine decree that once activated, no other person or entity can use it if they were not the ones who consecrated it.

I hereby issue a divine decree that this talisman is now complete, consecrated, and operational. It is no longer clay—it is a living tool of divine authority. It is no longer decoration—it is encoded Heka made manifest.
